Anyone know what's the problem with canon eos 20d and connecting that sau to my little XP-PC?

Use a Medion smallish leptop with windows xp and a canon eos 20d connected to the pc with a working cable. autoinstalled something but was never able to acces the card.

that sucks… there are pictures on it from egypt.

Consider searching for updated Canon EOS 20d drivers.

Another approach:
Is the card removable and can one of those drug-store kiosks read it so you could put the images on a CD?

did the first one.
card is obviously removable – but i cant see the camera in my explorer. actualized it, no change.

downloaded driver from some website:
20DWI541EN.exe
5,24 MB
once clicked, it asked where to unpack a folder named
20DWI541EN,
which contained a *.ini file – normally suitable for a manual installation in combination with the great windows installer…
is it?

cant find drivers on the web…
. canon site said, there’d be no driver available for xp.

Try right-clicking on the ini and see if there’s an option to ‘install’. [I could be on drugs, but I thought there used to be].
