Sounds a little late to have one to me. I will have one at 8AM if I need.

No. Go for. It’s 5pm somewhere.

Call me naive, but I don’t know what a hairy dog is.

Well, I know what this one is but not the one referred to in the question.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@johnpowell. Thank you for the definition sir. In that case, I suggest you drink liberally, lynneblundell, and the rest will work itself out later. :o)

No, it’s not too early!

You know, when you have a hairy dog, you get all those hairs in your mouth, and you know how that is. Yech! Bleh! Pittooie! It’s just embarrassing. And it really doesn’t matter what time it is. The Hairy Dog is bad news.

For my money, you should have a short-haired dog. A pit bull or something. Now those dogs have a real bite!

I’m sorry but 11:55 is way too early. Drinking in the morning is just pure naughtiness. 12:00 is fine tho!

introv, i agree. it’s one of those subtle things in life.

I don’t think 11..55am is good time for anything. Actually, I don’t think 11..55am is a time at all.

bodyhead's avatar

Personally, I like to have a hairy dog or two when I get off work.

The sun is over the yardarm. Just not sure if it’s rising or setting.

Ask Knotmyday”: He has one who’s called Drake, rather than the more apt Devil Incarnate.

I would wait the extra five minutes for posterity’s sake, but that’s just me. No judging here if you’re going for it.

Did anyone else notice the fact that…right now (17.52pm my time) Grisson’s lurve is at 1155… is that not a slightly bit…odd??

and no.. i think you’re right..11..55 isn’t a time at all :-) doh

@lynneblundell I’m sure it was numerologically significant, I’m just not sure why!

loser's avatar

I have lots of hairy dogs while I’m at work!

gailcalled's avatar

And loser dresses them in coordinated outfits.

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@loser: My work drink of choice was definitely margaritas…

Grisson's avatar

@TitsMcGhee Darn! They don’t serve those where I work!

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@Grisson: We didn’t either (I worked at a pizzeria) but we shared a basement with a Mexican restaurant, and our kitchen doors opened into one another. The night there was good friends with all of us and would give us margaritas and tequila shots. There was also a liquor store across the street. We always had a good time at work, haha.

Only drink in times that end in ‘m’!

loser's avatar

I’m guessing you don’t imbibe very frequently?

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@loser: I think artificialard meant a M and p M.

nebule's avatar

@TitsMcGhee hee hee… i thought he meant what loser thought he meant also… and it took me a while i’ll tell you; to go through every number and time possibilty…just goes to show how one can get things totally wrong!!! lol now’s it’s even funnier!!

artificialard's avatar

Yeah I was basically ripping off the ‘only on days that end in ‘y’! joke. Weird how people can read that completely different (although totally understandable now that I look at it)...

It must be my rule to only drink in times with a :

I like your thinking, artificialard.
