If it has alcohol or ammonia in it, you shouldn’t use it. I’ve also heard paper towels can scratch the screen, but who knows if that’s true? I use a glasses cleaning cloth, which I lick, then clean the screen. I lick it becaues I don’t want to spit on it; that would be too much liquid. My mom has these lubed towlettes that are specifically for laptop screens, but they left streaks on mine so I hate them lol4rl.

Buy a bottle of iKlear from the Apple store. If you don’t want to do that, then use a microfiber cloth and water. If the water leaves streaks, use bottled water.

Not the best idea due to the fear of the Windex seaping down into the screen’s casing. Better off going with a lint-free cloth. If that’s not enough, dampen the cloth ever so slightly.

I used rubbing alcohol and the cloth that came with my MacBook… I can’t see why the alcohol would be bad for the glass.

@ipodrulz: Not all laptops have hard screens.

Some have plastic screens.
