Can I Get My Videos From Jaman On My iPod?

Asked by desiree333 (3219points) January 17th, 2009

I have this program called Jaman Player. Its basically a free, downloadable player which you can download free and paid movies. I rented the movie “Conversations With Other Women”. One day I was randomly looking at all my files and I saw a quicktime file of the movie “conversations With Other Women”. I was surprised, and tried to put it on my iTunes movies library. It went onto the library and I even got it on my iPod. But, there is no picture, its just a green screen with perfect audio. Did Jaman make it like this on purpose? Is there a possible way I can put it on my iPod with audio, and video?

I’d suggest trying to convert the QuickTime file (as well as any other files you want on your iPod) with iSquint—an excellent, free convertor app specifically for creating iPod/iPhone optimized video.

@cirrina about converting my Jaman movies: If there is no picture to start with when I put it on my iPod, and its already in Quicktime format, how is it possible for there to be picutre after I convert it? Is it possible?

@odelljamie, so are the videos on that website you wrote free, or do I have to pay for them?

If the file on your computer (not your iPhone) displays as a QuickTime file and plays successfully with picture, iSquint should be able to convert it to a format you can use on your iPhone…

@odelljamie, will these videos on the link you sent play on my iPod with audio and picture?
