What is your favorite 80s song?

Asked by LKidKyle1985 (6594points) January 19th, 2009

Probably asked before but eh. I am just making an 80s playlist and wanted to hear what some of your favorite songs were! So far I got some petshop boys on there, madonna, dead or alive, billy idol and falco.

Based on how many times I’ve suspected I’ve listened to these songs (and LURVED them!) since they were released, it’s going have to be one of the following:

I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) by Hall & Oates from Private Eyes (1981)
little america by R.E.M. from Reckoning (1984)
Life and How to Live It, again by R.E.M. from Fables of the Reconstruction (1985)
It’s Nearly Africa by XTC from English Settlement (1982)
I Started Something I Couldn’t Finish by The Smiths, a single (1987)

asmonet's avatar

And pretty much anything by The Cars.

Shake It Up
Drive
You Might Think

And of course Cyndi Lauper
Girls Just Want To Have Fun
