I’ve always wanted to meditate on a regular basis and to specifically get into this type of meditation but never had the discipline really. Are you having classes? Or doing it on your own? Do you have good cd’s etc? I’ve not yet managed to find great meditation cd’s that get me excited about it and therefore it’s never really captured my heart and soul…as yet…

You have to go to a certified instructor to be taught TM properly and for it to be successful. It is rather expense but given the relief it has given me from chronic migraines, insomnia, depression and stress… it was worth every penny. The only prescription med I am on now is allergy meds. There are TM centers all over the world where you can go for a free informative presentation… very low pressure.

One of the reasons that I’ll like to try TM is because Howard Stern speaks so highly of it. He meditates for 20 or 30 minutes after every show. He also said that he smoked quite a bit and just didn’t feel like smoking anymore after his experience with TM.

That’s where I heard about it too!!!! I am a die hard fan. My bff is also a die hard fan and he was battling with severe depression and bordering on becoming an full blown alcoholic. He decided to learn TM one year ago and his experience was so amazing I was moved to go myself. I signed up shortly after the Mahareshi passed and Howard spoke so movingly about him. My experience was so positive that I took my mother this summer to learn and she is seeing benefits from it as well. (detailed on my blog…too much for Fluther)

I’ve thought about paying for this…the cost is SO HIGH. I was wondering how much the benefits outweigh the cost.
