Font file help?

Asked by kevbo (25672points) January 23rd, 2009

I want something laser engraved using the Copperplate Light font. The engraver doesn’t have the font. Most places that I’ve been able to find it online it costs more than the engraving.

Can you find me a free download link for PC or make another suggestion to get the font to the engraver? I have Copperplate Light on my Mac (the filename is Copperplate.dfont), but the engraver is using an old PC (maybe Windows 2000). Any suggestions? Thanks!

1. Create the artwork in Adobe Illustrator and convert the font to outlines.
2. Create the art in any app and save it as a PDF.

Go here. All free. And it’s not a torrent.
