Are Kamots and Lakota on the cover of the book wolves at our door?

I actually have the book and the video! I “adopted” Lakota when I was in third grade through a wildlife fund event. And I even stayed in contact with the people who cared for them, up into high school. I was crushed to find out Lakota had died, and they sent me some pictures they had taken of him.

It looks like it could be Lakota howling, it would be easier for me to tell if it was from the front. He has fluffy cheeks.
