Homemade biscuits ‘n gravy with a side of bacon (crispy of course!) and a big ol’ glass of cold milk. Mmmm… geez, now I want breakfast.

Runny scrambled eggs, an English muffin (or just half of one), and a cold glass of orange juice…I eat that everyday for breakfast.
Although lately I’ve been having this strange desire for grapefruit too…Sometimes that’s good, but only with PLENTY of Splenda.

eponymoushipster's avatar

scrambled eggs with cheese (or better still, two kinds of cheese)
not crispy not raw bacon (4 rashers)
homemade crepes with homemade fruit compote on top
strong coffee
a grapefruit

@daloon HA! I agree 100%.

I’m actually into Chocolate Whey Protein shakes for breakfast lately – so easy! Hafta add a banana and use milk (not water), b/c Whey by itself tastes like cardboard. Then I blend it with ice so it’s like a smoothie.

Super easy, super simple (can’t think clearly before noon), and I’m satisfied for hours.

I like country ham, biscuits, red-eye gravy, grits, scrambled eggs, strawberry preserves, and fresh sliced fruit. I like O.J. or chocolate milk to drink.

Eggie in the hole done perfectly. Eggie in the hole is when you make a hole in a piece of bread, put it in a pan and crack an egg in the hole. It’s toast and eggs in the same meal.

And lots and lots of coffee.

Eggs Florentine or Eggs Benedict (with a slice of tomato in place of the ham).

Let’s see….

2 slices of bacon, 2 sausage links, 3 scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, white toast, hash browns, 3 buttermilk pancakes, a breakfast burrito with Chorizo inside, and a bagel with cream cheese.

@Bluefreedom they have denny’s in mexico city?

@eponymoushipster. Nice one. Lurve. :o)

Denny’s is called La Cucaracha Kitchen south of the border, by the way.

Fresh-squeezed OJ
Eggs Benedict
Niman Ranch bacon

Usually waffles and sausage or bacon. When I eat at a breakfast place, though, the perfect combination is an order of toast, an order of bacon, and a cup of fruit. Yum!

BONZO's avatar

pizza, preferrably cold, and if there is any beer left I will take one of those too, also preferrably cold

No breakfast at breakfast time for me. If it’s noon or later though, breakfast is my favorite meal!

1) French toast with butter and sugar, 2 eggs over easy, and a pile of extra crispy bacon.

2) Eggs Benedict and a pile of extra crispy bacon.

3) Fluther Pancakes and a pile of extra crispy bacon.

I’ll take any of the following!

1. French toast and a side of bacon.
2. Traditional Irish Breakfast
3. Belgian waffle with whipped cream and fresh strawberries
4. S.O.S

oh man, this is making me hungry

My daughter’s funny, she likes weird savory things for breakfast like Pad Thai.

Fried Eggs and Rice FTW!

Divalicious's avatar

Whole grain Belgian waffles hot from the toaster, topped with strawberries and bananas with whipped cream on top. It’s like strawberry shortcake for breakfast!

You can’t help but have a good day after that.

jonsblond's avatar

Pancakes with real strawberries and whipped topping and a side of sausage links. A strong cup of coffee (or three) must be involved!

I have a hard time with breakfast. I’m usually not hungry until around 9 or 10 in the morning, when I’m already at work. The problem is, my stomach seems smaller in the morning. (I wish it would stay that way all day!)

However, if I could eat it, my favorite breakfast would start with a toasted poppyseed bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato and capers on it. I would follow that with homemade waffles with real maple syrup, preferably made from my own trees. I would have the fruit of the season ready to pile on top of the waffle. I’d have bacon and farm-made breakfast sausage, and “Daddy eggs” on the side. I would be drinking fresh squeezed orange juice, or, even better, fresh squeezed passionfruit juice. A single-shot latte would provide the caffiene.

In real life, I’d either have the bagel or the waffles or the bacon and eggs, but never all three at once. Sigh. Parts of this meal are also good for lunch or dinner.

Bacon, with a of bacon…of course!

Truly, if it’s a Sunday and I feel like cooking, it’s a good ole southern style breakfast, in our house. Biscuits, sausage & bacon, eggs, gravy (biscuits!), home fries (hash browns if we are out, home fries if I make them), and always fruit! Fresh squeezed OJ, too. Yum!

A really good Eggs Benedict. I used to know a restaurant that made that dish to perfection. I haven’t had any as good in years.

A Mimosa to finish it off would be nice, too.

Three eggs over easy, bacon (almost crispy), corned beef hash instead of hashbrowns, and white toast, buttered.

My answer is still the same—At my local diner: a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, wheat toast, a side of bacon, a side of corned beef hash, and a big glass of milk.
