I’m all about the Safari myself.

I asked this a while ago.

Then there’s this

Always good to do a search first, you’ll get good answers and might not even have to ask a Q.

Safari by default, because I find it quick, snappy, and crisp,
but then sometimes I’ll open firefox and wonder why I don’t use it all the time since it seems to love me so much (remembering tabs when it crashes, having everything I could possibly use or the ability to with extensions, etc).

Sometimes I cry, can’t decide, and open camino…

Opera user myself..

Safari – faster and cleaner. Plus, the fact that everytime I run Firefox it wants to update something gets tired.

I’ve always been a Safari man. Firefox just feels so bloated with an inferior UI.

If you want simplicity and slightly higher speed, use safari.

If you want extendability, add ons and customization, get Firefox.

Imho, Safari is crap.. _ —> With all due respect.

Firefox owns for so many reasons:
1. It’s free and open source.
2. Much quicker, more robust and more flexible.
3. It’s extendible, with a wide range of amazing add-ons for different purposes.
.
.
. and many more

( Btw, @Spargett
Have you tried to tweak the UI? There is a huge collection of intuitive interfaces all for free. All you have to do is to look for them. )

If I type anything other than Firefox my browser will see and punish me.
I’m cool with that.

@Spargett

Actually, Firefox uses a basic UI default because this is also another reason
of its reliability. They build it with the most basic UI possible so that it can work normally on as many machines as possible. And after that, it’s up to the user to tweak the UI in any way he likes.

I’m a Firefox fan. I can see what people are saying about Safari being cleaner, but frankly I wanted the add-ons and customization that Firefox allows.

@Maverick

My apple software is always yelling at me to get more apple software. Every time I update iTunes it tries to install Safari, Moble me, and something called Bonjour.

I hate safari, i just didn’t want to piss people off.

firefox! firefox! firefox!

@Eambos

Hate is such a strong word, but this is a question about opinions and your entitled to it.

I use Firefox. I hate the default theme of Firefox so I use the GrApple theme. It looks good and all my extensions work. AdBlock Plus, FlashBlock, Delicious, Firebug, Greasemonkey, and Youtube Comment Snob are needed for my sanity.

yeah, I use the theme NASA night launch. It always confuses people to see a black brower, it’s really funny.

i’ve never used safari, but i keep my firefox dear to my heart because it remembers my pages when my computer goes down, which i think is amazing. i’m not sure if safari does that. i do hate the way firefox handles downloads though. i use internet explorer for that.

oh man i’ve never changed firefox themes but i just added that blackle one, and i love it. my enviro teacher told us we should use blackle when we remember because it wastes less energy. so i am. and i demand extra credit!

@tiffyandthewall

sorry, all i got is extra lurve.

Safari is good, but with such a big Extension library FIREFOX is my choice.
