The Coke Superbowl Commercial - Music?

Asked by srmorgan (6773points) February 1st, 2009

A Coke commercial just ran on the Superbowl broadcast, a bunch of crickets and bugs. Was the background music from “Peter and the Wolf” or am I getting too old to hear things correctly?

Yes. It’s Tchaikovsky’s Peter and the Wolf.

My bad. But you have to admit Tchaikovky’s first name, Pyotr, means Peter. Also, he was from Russia, and there are lots of wolves there.

It sure brought back memories for me – does anyone know where I can hear excerpts on line?

No, it was not Peter & The Wolf. It was “Bolero” by Ravel.
