If you won't go for a routine colonoscopy, what other medical tests can you get to see if you're alright in the colon?

Certainly occult blood in the stool might help. What else? I know the alternate tests are not as good but they’re better than nothing.

Virtual colonoscopy, which might be more effective than a real colonoscopy. You still need to do the GI prep however, and if they see something suspicious, then you need a real one anyway.

There is a relatively new virtual colonoscopy.
