Blackberry Storm?
Hey, i like how the blackberry storm looks and i really want it but i dont want to pay the 30 dollars a month for internet because i have a touch and i dont really need it. Is it possible to get the storm without getting the $30 a month for internet?

Possibly. But you really need to get it if you plan to use any internet, because VZW will charge you by the MB, and those add up fast. You will also will not be able to use standard Blackberry functions, like PIN-messaging…oh, and I don’t think you can get Push email either. Also, no Wi-Fi on the Storm with VZW.
Truthfully, I think it’s kind of useless to get a storm without a data plan, but it’s up to you.
When I got my iPhone, At&t told me internet plan is required, so probably same for verizon.
It was required with my Pearl on AT&T/Cingular too
Revisiting this question…I find it hard to imagine a Storm without a data plan. I mean, yes you have the iPod touch that uses Wi-Fi, but the Storm doesn’t…no wi-fi. It is dependent on a data plan.
So unless you ONLY want to use the phone for messaging/voice calls and pay a high per-MB rate, I suggest you get the 30 dollar plan.
If you’re using it on Verizon you must have the $30 data plan. I agree with seekingwolf in that the storm is pretty useless without a data plan. Get the LG Dare then.
