Not to my knowledge. And I doubt they’ll allow this to happen for a few reasons. One, Flash exploits exist. Two, it pulls Facebook into MySpace territory which is the exact opposite of what they want to do (you know someone will make up a flashy crazy profile flash thing with sounds and all sorts of garbage). Three, it would quickly be ignored as a profile picture and people would start using it to advertise their stuff or make games or such other things, which is also what Facebook doesn’t want to do.

That’s what I thought and your answer is pretty much exactly what i’ve been asked to do. Advertise with something flashy. I already told the parties involved that it couldn’t be done because i didn’t want to do it. It’s nice to know i’m not lying:)

Ugh. Sometimes marketing disgusts me. Scratch that, most times marketing disgusts me. Good luck finding another solution :)

The closest thing you could do is to create a video and upload it to your profile (or to the group/fan page.) Perhaps your superiors do not understand facebook….
