How are you today?

It is my hubby’s birthday (he says it is the worst birthday for a boy), so we are doing birthday stuff with family. He loves orange chicken, so we are making that with some other yummy stuff.

We never celebrate valentines day on the 14th because birthdays always take presedence (sp?). :)

Sreepy. I have a date with ice cream in a few minutes, that’s about it.

Not very good.
It’s saturday night, and a good friend of mine’s having a BIG party, and I SO wanna go! Loads of beer and cool people, and I’m stuck at work… And I still have 7,5 hours ‘til I can go home, and by then the party’s over…
A bit bummed out.

I’m doing very well and I hope you are too. Thanks for asking, by the way. I’ll be at work for the next 12 hours so there goes my Valentines Day. But, I will be on Fluther for several hours this evening so it all works out in the end. :o)

Have seen husband (who brought tulips and a few excellent quality chocolates from the chocolatier nearby this morning, and then fixed dinner) off to work. I am on my own for the evening.

I am not feeling up to par today. That means the med. my doctor tried Friday isn’t working, and it will probably be Tuesday before I get lab results. A looong President’s Day weekend.

nothing i’ve done today has any relevance to valentine’s day really – besides that i left a friend’s house early because her boyfriend was coming over – but i went to the carnival earlier. it was pretty dull actually. and it was super hot out. but it’s been a pretty nice day overall. and i found out that a band i love is coming soon, so i’m very excited. happy valentines day by the way.

I woke up and was offered a job doing easy work on a website. No design or programming. Just HTML. Easy work that will pay well. But it is porn. I’m conflicted. I could use the money but I don’t want to work in porn. Or with porn in anyway.

Now I’m drinking PBR trying to decide.

I am fucking miserable. And not even because it’s Valentine’s day. Just because my life is shitty right now.
And usually I am positive, but today I had a break down and just accepted all the terrible things in my life.
Tomorrow I’ll make myself be better though.

I am fine, thank you. I went with my friends to the Museum of Modern Art today, as one friend gets free admission from her job. I got to see my favorite Mondrian. Then we had Thai. It was a lovely day.

I’m tired. I’ve been cleaning house all day. I took a break and went to the gym for a while, but there is more to do.

We aren’t doing anything for Valentine’s Day at all. In fact, the only reason I got a rose was that last night was Homecoming for my daughter’s soccer team and every mom was given one.

My step-grandson’s 1st birthday was today (well, yesterday now). One year ago on the day he was born, we found out he had a serious heart defect. He had emergency surgery the next day, and open-heart surgery about 10 days later. Today, he is a robust, healthy 1 year old. Much to celebrate!

It’s raining, which I’m surprisingly not happy about for once. I usually love the rain.
A person I barely know slept in my room last night. He was underage and drunk and said he couldn’t go home like that. I had to give the little snot a ride home this morning.
The pictures my friend and I took last night that we thought were awesome are all blurry. We were drunk and high. Boo for blurry pictures.
My power went out and my mom won’t help me fix it. I don’t even know what the fuck the account number is or any of the other information they’re asking for. I’ve been in the dark and cold for two and a half hours.
I spent $60 last night on alcohol and weed. Shit.
…but…
The weather could be worse.
The kid I took home is still alive and okay, besides the fact that he might be in trouble.
My family and friends are alive and healthy.
Taking (shitty) photos with good friends was pretty fun and very entertaining.
The power is still out. It is still dark. It is still cold. This is the only thing that sucks.
I get paid this week.

All around, it doesn’t seem so bad, but someone is going to lose a testicle if the power is still out when The Amazing Race comes on.

Allie, the power company should be able to help you without your account number. All they really need is your address. Keep pressing buttons until you get to a real live person, and report your outage.
