I agree 100% with @Bluefreedom. My mom loves 70s music. I was raised listening to it pretty much all the time. I have an odd appreciation (and love) for it that my friends my age simply don’t understand.

Urethane skateboard wheels were introduced in the 70’s and that was a big innovation over the clay and steel wheels used before then. Thats when people started to ride pools and build skateparks for the first time in history.

Not sure about the 70s, I think they were just a precursor for the 80s, nothing more.

Muppets. (Started in the 60’s, but many of the best were created in the late 60’s and grew into themselves in the early 70’s – so I think it counts!)
