What do you think about the Master Cleanse?

ya know, lemons, maple surup, cayenne pepper

have you done it? is it hard? what kind of results did you see? do you think its healthy? more importanly, did you keep weight off?

I’ve never done it, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. My knowledge is limited to the wikipedia article I just read.

It sounds like it may be good for detoxing your body, but it doesn’t seem like it is very healthy long term. It is missing a lot of vital nutrients that your body needs for overall health. It sounds like it is good for short term weight loss, but I still feel that the best way to lose weight and to keep it off is just to practice a healthier lifestyle (eat healthy meals, healthy proportions and exercise regularly).

My parents did it. They’re crazy, though.

They said it worked great for them several times. However, they’re not able to make it the full two weeks every single time.

Dangerous. And the “doctor” behind it is a quack.

Try diet and exercise before any crash fad diet.
