Free E-Book downloads?

Asked by hungerforpizza (247points) February 26th, 2009

Yes, i know there is a lot of web sites where you can get older e-books. My friend uses thepiratebay to get most of his software they do have e-books but not a good selection. What i’m trying to say is, what’s is the best way to get newer e-books for free.

Www.dailylit.com is great. They’ll email sections of a book to you every day. They have a huge selection of free books, both old and new.

It’s not exactly an e-book, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

Project Gutenberg is probably the most famous one.

I have sometimes had luck with Google Book Search if I need a few pages of a book.

Plus this website in one that I have had some luck with.

Don’t overlook the public libraries. I belong to both the city and county libraries. The borrowing period, generally, is two weeks. Thnere is no necessity to return the books; they automatically self-return after the borrowing period expires.
