rockstar4411's avatar

yea because without rap music then you wouldnt have any of this R&b and soul and etc because rap build it all to happen

El_Cadejo's avatar

Egh solija boy and shit like that are what gives rap a bad name. Listen to some real music.

rockstar4411's avatar

@uberbatman what do you mean, people like Soulja Boy, give rap a bad name?

elijah's avatar

Currently I love anything Lil Wayne, Rock Yo Hips by Crime Mob, basically anything I can dance to. For old school stuff I like Ice Cube, The Ghetto Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys, Snoop’s first album, Biggie, and of course Tupac.

El_Cadejo's avatar

@rockstar4411 simply put soulja boy is shit. Lyrically speaking he has no talent at all.Seriously go read some of his lyrics, its drivel.

Good Rap
Bad Rap (i mean seriously is it the fucking hokie pokie or something)

rockstar4411's avatar

Now those are some great Hip-hop songs that i love listening to also @elijauhsucide

mangeons's avatar

Well, Rap usually = crap, but I do like a little Eminem, my fave songs of his are “Lose Yourself” and “Shake That”, “Guess Who’s Back” and “Adrenaline”

Keep in mind, I don’t know if these are the actual names except for “Lose Yourself”, I’m just guessing. ;)

I used to kind of like Soulja Boy, but not so much anymore. It’s kind of stupid. I mean seriously, “Superman that ho?” what is that even supposed to mean? It makes no sense, but the tune/beat is addicting. ; )

I could never pick a favorite! But I do listen to “Mary Jane (The Weed Song)” by Bone Thugs n’ Harmony quite a bit, as well as “Handlebars” by Flobots, “2 Far” by Dizzee Rascal, ‘Bitches Ain’t Shit” by Dr. Dre, “Mikey Rocks” by The Cool Kids, “Everybody Nose” by N.E.R.D., “I’m a Playa” by Tech N9ne, “Candy” by Snoop Dogg, and “The Heart Gently Weeps” by Wu-Tang Clan.
