Was the iPhone immersed in water or what? How long has it been since it has dried out?

Turn it off and leave it off! You’ll have to wait for it to completely dry and hope for the best. If your still having a problem you can go down to the Apple store and just BS them into thinking it just stopped working or you can pay the $200.00 replacement fee.

@Jamkas there is a little white sensor in the headphone jack of iPhones that changes colors if it gets wet. If that part of the iPhone got wet, the Genii will know that the iPhone was wet and will not replace it under the warranty. Shame they have to add a feature like that to keep people from lying about damaging their iPhone in order to get it repaired free…

my iphone was unlocked so i cannot get if replaced by apple. i just want to be able to fix it.
i was immersed in water for lest and 2 seconds. apple wont replace it since i did not have a contract with them. it has been dried for 5 days. only the upper features are not working. the rest are.
