How would you personally interpret this, were it a prophecy?

Asked by DrasticDreamer (23996points) March 1st, 2009

I’m interested in how different people come up with different meanings. So, from a dream of mine…

If “When the seven Kings fall, the numbers will come” was a prophecy, what do you think it would be describing?

**Disclaimer** I don’t actually believe this is a prophecy.

1. When all seven days of the week are over (Kings meaning middays), then the numbers will come, ie the lottery numbers that you played last Monday. You’ll win the lottery next week!

2. Or the 7 Kings:
The King of Spain
The King of Sweden
The King of Belgium
The King of Luxemburgh
The Queen of Holland
The Queen of England
The King and Queen of Denmark

When all of these die, then the numbers (ie “oi polloi”, in other words the population) will come into power. These countries will have a parliamentary democracy with huge numbers of people voting for a president instead of a king.

3. When all 7 of the Burger King shops in Hannover close down, they will be replaced by Deutche Telekom shops, selling telephone connections and so on.

Honestly, this is the first thing that came to mind:

I understand that African countries are not monarchies but I intepret the ‘7 kings fall’ as leaders of 7 African countries who have been deposed, died, executed, or imprisoned.

As far as ‘the numbers will come’, this would be all the citizens of the 7 countries coming together and learning to live together as one large, influential community. Something that couldn’t have been done before under the 7 kings because they each demanded their own respective populations to be intolerant of the others for selfish and inhumane reasons. Now, without that evil influence, they can be better people and live better lives.

@Bluefreedom Interesting. Very cool answer. :)

In my dream, playing cards were falling from the ceiling of a cave and seven Kings landed on the floor, lined up perfectly. When they said ”...the numbers will come”, numbered playing cards scattered the kings across the floor. It was a very interesting dream, to say the least. :)

After seven years of plenty will come seven years of famine. Then the people will come and want to buy grain. Perhaps you should bring this up to the Pharaoh and start building silos?

I can’t say for certain that this refers to your dream but this was my first impression and the #7 almost always refers to the spiritual.
This is from the book of Revelation Chapter 17 and refers to a vision the apostle John had of a prostitute riding a beast with seven heads and ten horns:

9“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.”

Some scholars have said that the 8th king is not a king at all but refers to a system-maybe the internet, which may be the numbers you saw displacing the kings…but it doesn’t look good for him(it,beast) either in the long run. :)

Regardless it’s worth a read.

Boy, that apostle John sure had a bunch of weird dreams, a prostitute riding a beast with seven heads and ten horns, makes you wonder what those early Christians were smoking.

You will win the next hand of poker you play.. so long as you get kings.

You will be in a furniture store and 7 king sized mattresses will tip over and land on you. You will sue the store for negligence and win big time.

It could happen.

I like Jack’s second answer a lot. That seems to be the case – as the old crumbles, represented by kings – the numbers arise. I like the internet as one way that the numbers are coming together.

Biblical wondering: I wonder in the Book of Numbers, whether there is any reference to any kings!

…Or any numbers mentioned in the books of Kings?

I think you should go to La Cave in the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Play blackjack and look for the seven kings to fall.
Then you will know the next step forward.

In your pantry there are seven bags of flour that you got on sale at Costco (you got eight and there are seven left, stacked precariously. If they fall numbers of ants will come to collect.
Dreams are all over the place in their use of every day ideas in the dream lexicon.
