What do you have playing in the background when you Fluther?

The sounds of silence.

I usually have a couple other windows open (facebook, myspace, mail) and at the moment we’re watching the Rockets basketball game. Something is usually on tv while im fluthering.

My Pandora :)

Right now, it’s a CD of my daughter playing harp, since she’s no longer around to play it in person. But more often it’s nothing at all.

When Im working I hear all the small talk of regular business travel, and as of recently when Im at home Ive been rocking The Kinks

Right now, a little Ricky Booooobby. Haha, Talledega Nights is on TBS. Usually I have my good tunes jammin’ though.

When I’m on my home computer and Fluthering, I’m usually listening to songs from my iTunes library and sometimes playing Jewel Quest II. I also like to use the Netflix Instant Watching so sometimes I’ll transition between that and Fluther also.

At work and while Fluthering, I watch movies or television or listen to music on my iPod.

My husband. He’s usually playing Civ III about four feet away.

Depends on the time of day. Kids, tv, video games… but my preference is silence. I can no longer listen to music or talk on the phone and type at the same time. I find it too distracting. Does that mean I’m getting old?

@Blondsjon; This is where punctuation and upper case serve a purpose, as I keep nattering about .I would have written “The Sounds of Silence” for the song. I meant literally the sounds of silence, viz; perhaps the wind soughing or my little creek plashing along and as of yesterday, a few redwing blackbirds making their “kon-ka-REE” call.

Paul and Art were part of my musical youth, however…all those bridges over troubled waters and the herb garden.

recently it’s been Glasvegas. In particular it’s been “Geraldine” by Glasvegas…on repeat.

One of my favorite things about Fluther is that the threads often send me off on musical journeys. Last night I went from Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor to Heart thanks to my fellow jellies.
