Who is the lead actor playing James T. Kirk in the upcoming Star Trek film?

I’m familiar with all the actors playing in this film except for the actor playing Kirk. What other movies/ television shows has he been in, and how would you rate his skills as an actor?

IMDB. He’s one of the the guys who played in Smokin’ Aces. I’m very anxious to see the new film. But if you do a search for “Chris Pine” in IMDB, you’ll get a full listing of everything he’s done.

I’d say he did an excellent job of playing that crazy guy in Smokin’ Aces though.
