Does anyone watch live Senate or House hearings on C-Span?

Asked by SquirrelEStuff (10007points) March 3rd, 2009

Ben Bernanke is on right now and getting drilled with great questions by Senators. Is anyone watching? Does anyone watch or do you rely on the news stations to report on what happens at these hearings?

I love C-Span. They don’t have analysis, bullshit. They only show what is really happening and I sometimes watch it. I was not watching this but when I saw your question I went to CNN website and they are also having that online.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I don’t watch the live recordings, usually, but I do watch replays of them with commentary. I saw Bernanke getting torn apart by Alan Grayson the other day, and I must say it gave me incredible satisfaction.

I really wanted to watch the hearings that our president promised us would be on C-Span but then reneged on. I also wanted to view the legislation on the internet at least 48 hours before voting, but he also reneged on that promise. I also wanted….oh well!
