Is there a program I can get for Firefox to highlight multiple items on a web page, and have them saty highlighted as I browse?

I just thought, In cases where a pages has a lot of information on it, it might be worthwhile to have some way to keep tabs on words/sentences/phrases that you need, without having your highlighting disappear every time you change your search function.
