His mom was Jewish, but they’re Baptist.

SShonkoff: Why do you ask?

In Judaism I believe the lineage is matriarchal that would make him Jewish, but who cares?
The most interesting thing I noted from my 3 minute education on him is that he said, “conservatism is not a party”. I would also add that “liberalism is not a party”. The Dems and Reps are basically pimps who go with their highest producer. It’s like- “Do you want strawberry or vanilla?”
They’re both still ice cream just different flavors.
We need a few more vital political parties. I would send my presidential tax dollar if we could assure that. Meanwhile that box won’t get checked on my return.

He is going to a Baptist camp of some kind—so I would assume not.

Being Jewish is not really a religion as much as it is a culture. There are non religious Jews that don’t even go to temple but they consider themselves Jewish…

@SeventhSense I think I know what you’re trying to say, but I want to clarify. Judaism certainly is a religion. It’s a religion with a strong culture. I assume the culture may be stronger in Judaism than in many other religions (but I don’t know that for sure), but it is far, far from being all or even mostly about culture for many, many Jews.

Yes Judaism is certainly a religion.
