@laxrrockr18: Baby pigeons are rarely seen in urban settings, pigeons tend to roost high up in corners completely isolated and by the time the pigeons leave the nest, they’re basically adults. Occasionally, people notice and ask Fluther why there are no baby pigeons anywhere.

Get it?

In my neck of the woods they tend to be in the nest on the roof, right where the chimney emerges, a good 40 feet above the ground. The adults hang out on the porch roof, suddenly taking off whenever someone comes up to the door. Thus, I tell my friends to always wear a hat if they come to visit.

For those who don’t know, pigeons tend to poop right after taking off, hence the need for a hat
