How can I get my windows XP computer to show the NAME of the caller?

It shows the caller’s phone number only. I figure there should be a way for it to show the NAME of the caller as well, like caller I.D. How?

This is generally a telephone company feature, not a function of a compyter or its modem.
If you have a list of frequent callers, you could write a simple program in the computer language of your choice to match an incoming number to the name of the caller.
