Have you ever found buried treasure a time capsule or a message in a bottle?

No, but when my daughter was 7, she found a vodka bottle on the beach with the cap on it. We took it back to the hotel, wrote a note and asked the finder to send her a postcard, and put the bottle back in the ocean. We threw it into the water in the Florida panhandle. Two weeks later, she got a postcard in the mail from someone who found the bottle in Key West. Four months later, she received a postcard from Santiago Chile; someone found her bottle on the beach. It made its way around the bottom of South America and up the western coast.

I didn’t find a buried treasure or anything like that, but I did find a box of old pictures, key and notes in the attic of our house, from the previous owners. Both had passed away, the wife died before the husband. I contacted the son, but he had no interest in the box, he said he had tons of pictures of them and didn’t need anymore. sad

My husband and I sat there and looked at the photos and you could see this story unfolding of a couple that loved each other, their son and life. The story died down, shortly after she died. His face changed, there wasn’t a sparkle in his eyes, anymore.
