Well, like most things, it depends on how much you want to spend, whether you want sit-down or fast food, kinds of food you like, etc.

Pinot is one of the best lunch restaurants in the area, upscale and next to the museum (and thus, Pershing Square). More quick/cheap fare? The Redwood on 2nd and broadway offers a great “gastropub” menu and delicious burgers. Something unique? Grab the DASH and head down to Olvera Street for carne asada tacos or the legendary french dip from Phillippe’se’
