What do you think of inter-company rock band competitions?

Tonight engineers from my company are going to have a rock band competition with engineers from another company. We’re flying some of our best guys to San Francisco to compete. The master of ceremonies will be an internet celebrity. The competition is going to be held at justin.tv headquarters and will be broadcast live over the internet.

It’s interesting to me for a variety of reasons, but before I say more I’m curios about what the collective thinks.

At the radio station I work at, we do an Office Guitar Hero lunch promo. We bring Free Boston Pizzas, then the office competes against itself.

At the end of the whole competition, the office with the highest average Score among its employees gets to battle each other for a 42 inch flat screen, a wii and guitar hero.

It’s been fun, but I’m getting tired of going to LAw offices where 2 people know what they’re doing.
