As a Pats fan, can I still wear a Vrabel jersey?

He is a great player, and made a huge contribution to the team and it’s 3 rings… the only problem is that he’s on the Chiefs now. Can I wear his jersey still?

This problem came up when Jim Thome, my favorite baseball player, left the Indians for more money. I felt betrayed, but at the same time who am I to criticize his career choices? He was still my favorite player back then, so if I wear his Indians jersey it’s to remember that, not to support him now.
