It’s hitting it’s stride. The FBI Agent Ballard is terrible at everything he does in the show and it’s horrible acting on his part but otherwise, it’s pretty good. :)

It hasn’t had a lot of Whedony charm like his previous projects, but it’s a good show altogether. I think Dushku is a terrible actress, though.

I don’t think she’s terrible, but the role is over her head, I agree. The thing is this is her show, her project, and she’s an executive producer. She’s been in on this with Whedon from the beginning so there really was no alternative but to cast her in the lead.

I like it

I didn’t like her in Buffy either. I know they created the show together so there wasn’t another option for lead. I just don’t think she’s doing the show any favors with her acting. I must say my favorite episodes of Buffy were the ones where Faith was in a coma or running from the law. That meant she wasn’t going to be on for a while. It was 5 by 5, B.

Yes—I like it. I actually like ED as an actress, so I’m pleased with her casting. I also like the show. It’s not Buffy, Angel, or Firefly, but I don’t think it should be, you know? It’s it’s own thing.

It’s certainly no Dr. Horrible, but nothing ever will be again. SIGH.

Yeah, Dushku is terrible in almost everything.

So far so good. I am not a Dushku or Ballard (w/e his real name is) fan. Neither of their acting has ever impressed me. But the story has me intrigued so far, and I will continue to watch for now and hope it ends up being amazing.

@EmpressPixie – lurve to you for mentioning the ever awesome Dr. Horrible. Sigh, indeed

It’s getting better. And also more complex. I can’t imagine someone coming in on the series midway.

@ubersiren You know I liked her in Buffy a lot more than I like her here, but she was a supporting role, and the show was by its very nature silly. This show has obviously a very different feel,
