Has anyone personally taken flexeril and tramadol togeather?

Asked by samaurikitten (52points) March 24th, 2009

My friend was in an accident and perscribed flexeril, he also regularly takes traumadol for depression. I know 1 cuts off the pain signals in the brain and the other relaxes muscles. With my research, I have come across mixed reviews.

Most people are knocked out by Flexeril. I can stay awake for about 5 hours before it knocks me down, but I tolerate it much longer than most people who sleep 30 minutes after taking it. Mix it with any antidepressant & most likely the result will be immediate sleep. Have him take Tramadol in the morning & flexeril at bedtime.

I would have your friend call and ask the pharmacist about that combo. It doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.
