a little random of a question, but I’d assume it depends on the rapist doing said raping.
If you don’t mind my asking though, where’s the origin of this question?
Since rape is about power, not sex, I don’t think it would matter. And violent rape produces it’s own blood. Why would a rapist be squeamish?

Uhhh I’m a woman on my period walking alone to my car at night. I heard a noise, got scared, but it was nothing and I got to my car safe and sound. It just got me wondering what if I was raped…? First of all, I hate to be graphic but I have a tampon in. How would that work?
@nayeight – I don’t know. But as a person who has been attacked, let me just say that they don’t give a damn what is going on with you. Only that you don’t report them.

The tampon would either move to the side or be shoved further up. If it moves to the side you probably won’t notice that part of the incident.
I’ve actually wondered this ever since I knew what rape was and had a period…but I thought of it just now and decided to tap the collective.
yeah to be honest I can’t imagine said rapist jumping someone, smacking them around, forcing their clothes off, looking down and going “oh come on Lady!” and walking away in disappointment.

It’s actually really scary to think that not only could you be raped and possibly murdered but that your tampon could kill you or really do some damage.
@nayeight the tampon itself isn’t going to kill you. If any damages are done, it would likely be the rape more than a cotton tampon.

This is not a stupid question, it’s a valid thing to think about.
Years & years ago, a couple was parked in their car in a park near here. A man came up, beat the hell out of the guy & raped the girl. She had a tampon in & he rammed it clear up into her insides. She almost died. He messed her up so bad that she could never have kids. So yes, it’s something to think about.

I doubt it would matter, as many have said it’s about power not sex. It probably doesn’t matter. That said, the most effective thing to yell if you’re being raped statistically is “I’m pregnant!” apparently, it freaks them out more than a woman’s period.

I don’t think @Blondesjon is being intentionally dicky. He did say this was a very sensitive issue for him, so I think that sensitivity is picking up anything that has potential to be offensive. He reported it, so it’s now up to someone else to decide if it’s inappropriate.

It depends. Unfortunetly all rapist are different and even though rape is about power the sex is a plus and usually sexual preditors have something they are into. If blood happens to turn on the rapiest it will only make him come back. Usually this is not the case. Also, if a rapiest knows or sees your on your period it may make him feel confident enough not to use a condom because he knows the chances of you getting pregnat and that you are on birthcontrol are slim.

Excuse me, but that doesn’t make a damn bit of sense.
Well the more elitest rapist or rapiest who have raped many times serially and haven’t yet gotten caught get more confident in their act. This also means they usually know a lot about not getting caught as well. One of the things that they may or may not do (which I’m not saying all rapiest do I’m saying its a percentage though) when a female is one her period they may decide not to use a condom for a couple reasons. One most condom lubrication can now betraced and even though they can do a sperm check they can still pull out, cum else where such as the floor, and bleach it. Two they know that the chances of the girl getting pregnant are slim because even though it can happen its harder to get pregnant when you are on your time a month, this means less evidence as well. I do retract my comment on birthcontrol though that didn’t make sense at all, I got my sentenced confused.
First of all, any rapist with ten seconds of planning is going to use a condom regardless of the victim’s status.
Pulling out does not mean no semen is deposited. Did you skip sex ed? That’s not how a penis works, sorry.

well. thats a bit random but i’ll admit i have actually questioned this myself,not kidding. i saw a movie once and these guys were about to rape this women until she said she was on her period so they made her give oral/maybe anal sex. i imagine a rapist depending on his “freakiness” may or may not stop.some people think having sex (male/female) when the female is on her period. not me :P
