“Masters of Melody”. For me, the best musical pop group ever, that created original, melodic, and unique songs, even though English was not their first language, and still succeeded internationally as one of the greatest musical acts of the 70s. Can you imagine an English or American group attempting to write songs in Swedish and trying to break into the Swedish pop charts at the same time? Uh, never! Lol.

There has always been this erroneous belief that ABBA’s music was disco. Only a few songs by ABBA had a “disco flavor” to them. Most of their songs were complex, well-orchestrated unique pieces that one could not “categorize” them in any real genre.
