You might do well to ask the question first and then provide all the necessary dialogue you need in the details section to set the environment for your question.

I had a question moderated one time because it was so long and had material within it that should have been relegated to the details area. Just some food for thought for you.

How about an example of one of these elusive environments?

I can only ask three questions a day. I don’t know if my edit of my first question will show. They might decide it is too long and throw it out too. I think of more than three questions a day. My battery takes a long time to charge with my noisy generator so I need to ask questions fast. This place makes me uncertain if I am doing anything at all.

I still don’t follow what you mean by environment. Can you elaborate on just that bit first?

Sounds like you need to spend a little time with your editor’s hat on and a little more effort into the details of your questions.

Why don’t you ask the question and then use the details section to provide context?
That’s why it is there.

this question is so confusing

Every question exists within a context. That is what I mean by environment. The question without the context is a lost soul.
