How well do plug-in supersonic devices work to repel spiders?

I have oodles of icky spiders in my house – especially my basement. We’ve already done some spraying indoors and out, but it’s a very temporary aid.

Hoping someone here has had a good experience with one of the plug-in supersonic repellers (whether or not it’s labeled to repel spiders). Let me know your experiences – good and bad.
