Apple Netbook soon?

Asked by asow92 (17points) March 31st, 2009

I have had a 12 inch powerbook now for a few years and love it! but I want to upgrade soon.
my question is should i just hold off until the fabled apple netbook appears, go with the rather expensive Macbook Air or just stay with what I have??
It’s at 1.33GHz 1.25GB of ram 60GB HDD and on 10.5.6
any suggestions would be grate!

If your powerbook is holding on and still going strong then why not wait it out until you see if this fabled netbook appears? On that note…I love my macbook (upgraded from a Powerbook myself) and would have no problem recommending it.

Watch out for the WWDC…rumor has it they may be unveiling the MacTouch touchscreen laptop. That’ll probably be a pretty new toy to play with if it actually happens. :)

I’m jealous. I have a PC but I’m desperate to go to a mac, the only thing is they cost too much.
I may buy one but pay monthly, what I normally wouldn’t do.

@Myndecho
You should check Apple’s site in the refurbished section. There are always good deals there.

I don’t think a netbook is a good idea. I have an iPhone for limited computing.

That depends. Are you dead set on Apple? You can get a nice netbook right now for much, much cheaper than the Apple machine will be.

I bought an EeePC 1000 for $350 and put Linux on it.
1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, 10” LCD
