Weird Al wrote a WHOLE song about palindromes. I think it’s on youtube. It’s called BOB. Quite impressive.

@Shecky_Johnson: All the lurve in the world for quoting Weird Al! I was just going to go through and pick one. I think my favorite one is “God, a red nugget, a fat egg under a dog.” And, of course, the ever popular “Go hang a salami, I’m a lasagna hog!”

@KatawaGrey Thanks. I almost did the whole song, But I didn’t wanna spoil all the fun.

“Able was I ere I saw Elba” (apocryphally attributed to Napoleon) has been called the best English has to offer because each word is intact, without having letters run together into other words in the reverse order.

I always rather liked “Lewd did I live & evil I did dwel” (a very old one), but it does not entirely play fair.
