Why does the webclip-feature of the dashboard load the pages so slow?

Hello all,

I finally got my Mac, and I love it. The only thing I’m not so happy with, is the speed the webclips in the dashboard load. (in Leopard) In Safari the pages usually load in about 1 second, but the webclips can take up to 10 seconds. Why is this, and can I speed it up?
