How are you living differently in this struggling global economy?

I’ve seemed to make adjustments at least every 6 months for a few years now. The most important has been realizing my job isn’t secure, regardless of positive write ups or recognition. I have to live as though any day I might have to start from zero again and again and to try and not take it personally or let it depress me to deeply to distract from my responsibilities.

@gailcalled: In America, we had a Presidential election last November which affected economic downturns entered before that time and now. These events have changed some people’s lives drastically.

@VzzBzz Yes, I think the question could have mentioned the difference, but the answers are certainly going to be different from one “era” to the next.
