Are you happy with the legacy you will leave behind?

For myself, I have lived enough in less than half a life to have had three lives and few family or friends would fault me but if I died tonight, I’d be sad I could not leave anything behind to secure the welfare of my mother.

Not that I’m in a big hurry to be pushing up daisies, but if I went tomorrow, I could say I did a pretty good job.

My wife and daughter are more than I could ever ask for, I helped a bunch of students (maybe inspired a couple), and I made some good art that hopefully has some longevity.

I’m pretty sure my integrity is intact and I really feel I’ve grown a lot (thanks mostly to my wife).

And…I’ve eaten my fair share of cookies.

So, despite the brevity (I’m only thirty eight), I’d be pretty content.
