Why does fluther work?

no trolling here, sincerely want to know!
why will fluther work better than say… me leaving a response in a forum, or me asking a question in “My Questions” on facebook?

fluther works because it’s well designed and populated by a bunch of folks who really enjoy asking and answering questions. it fills a specific niche, and it does it really well. that is a recipe for success.
Well, on the other hand, it’s not the only player in the field. There are also, to name a few, Qunu and Yahoo! Answers .
This site is more fun; like Mr. Roger’s neighborhood much of the time. Meet new people; make new friends; try out yr latest stand-up comic’s routine; get advice for the lovelorn, learn about new bras… you want it….we got it.
