Are you going to participate in Record Store Day this year?

The traditional celebration.

What’s a record? Also, what’s a store?

If I could, I would be at Rasputin on that day but I can’t so I’ll just keep my tears to myself. Conserving moisture is important.

All I know is that Amoeba has used cd’s for much cheaper than Rasputin did. And it’s bigger so therefore has a better selection.

I most definitely will be celebrating Record Store Day. I’ll be hitting up my local record/comic book store which is participating to pick up some demo’s from some great new indie bands and generally hanging out with some awesome people. Depending on my work schedule I may forego the local to head up to Boston. We shall see.

@cyndyh yes, but if you check the list of available recordings for the day, it’s extra special. Pitchfork has a good article outlining everything coming that day.

@eponymoushipster yup I love Newbury haha. I grew up with them as my local record/comic store. Pretty great.

My town is fresh out of local record stores. So no, I won’t be participating.

I may go to zia, we shall see… But its on saturday so i will try.

i don’t know if the closest record store is doing anything for it, but if it is, i’ll definitely stop by. i just went today!
