Madden is retiring from broadcasting. Football will be branded with the Madden label for years to come.

Now that he’s not broadcasting the games any more there’s only one reasonable option for him:
Take over as head coach for the Oakland Raiders!

If I had to guess, I’d say that they will continue to keep making these football games as long as Electronic Arts (EA) can continue making money off of Madden’s name and Madden can continue to collect royalties from these games. It’s more about the profit margin and less about an individual’s personal entertainment even though that is still a minor consideration.

They will create Madden-bot 3000 Football.

Hey Everyone… I have a friend that works over at EA Tiburon (the studio that makes Madden). As of yet… there is no plans on canceling the series or renaming it for that matter. Bluefreedom has it right… as long as there is money to be made from Madden NFL… they will make it.

What everyone else already said.
But here’s a link to Peter Moore’s blog.

I’m pleased that we continue our strong relationship with John
and will continue to produce new versions Madden NFL football
with his collaboration, including this August with Madden NFL 10.

John Madden has nothing to do with the features to the game. He is more like a host, he probably don’t even know how to work a computer. But besides that, the series will proceed without the snowman to host its features.

MADDEN IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD
