Could I use my old dvr as a hardrive or storgae device for my laptop?

I’m running out of space on my pc for files so im hoping I could use the dvr as a storage device.

I’d be surprised if you could.
First it’d have to be the right physical size and have the right connector for your laptop

I’m not sure, but you can pick up a flash drive on the cheap anymore. I think a 1Gb flash drive is around ten bucks or so. That would solve your problem, temporarily at least.
