Is there a particular TV personality that like more than any other and why?

Stephen Colbert comes to mind…

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Simon Cowell (because he says the shit I’m thinking but would never say). I also like Bill Maher because he doesn’t cut anyone any slack.

Jon Stewart rocks my world.
He’s silly and makes me laugh when appropriate, then bam, he comes at you and proves that he is incredibly smart and knows his shit. and he’s cute.

I agree that Jamie Hyneman is a very neat person (actually all the folks on that show would be great to know because they do cool stuff and blow things up).

However, I also like Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs (he is also the narrator for How It’s Made and Deadliest Catch). He gets to do interesting (and sometimes really smelly) jobs and does them with panache, if not always skill. Unlike Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) he doesn’t pretend that he isn’t being followed around by cameras all the time and he freely admits he stays in hotels. He also has a good sense of humor, even when the folks whose job he is featuring pull a practical joke on him.

I’d totally hang out with Alton Brown. He could tell me stories about his video shoots for R.E.M. back in the day when he was a cameraman / cinematographer while he baked me a pie.
