How do I detect a broken wire/loop in invisible fence wire?

I have a 3/4 acre loop. The unit says the invisible fencing wire loop is broken. help!

PetSafe makes a wire break locator that can be used with basically any dog fence that uses wire. There is an alternative way of trying to find the break listed on our web site at: http://www.petcontainandtrain.com/finding-wire-breaks
