I promised my friend in Singapore some krispy kreme. Is there an outlet near the San Francisco airport? Thanks.

You’re out of luck there:

No KK in SF.

If you want to drive to Daly City that’s your closest bet.
I think there’s things in SF that trump the hell out of Krispy Kreme though.
Take your friend to a restaurant called “Betelnut”. Oh that’s good food.

Is there anywhere else you are going in the US? Maybe you can pick some up before your flight to San Francisco.

@The_Compassionate_Heretic: good tip with Betelnut. I can’t think of any good reason to go to Daly City. Not even Krispy Kreme.

Oh dang! I will have to pick them up from Dallas then. Betelnut? Man, I will be rolling back home from the States! There is so much good food to try! Thanks!

The Krispy Kreme in Daly City is next to San Francisco International Airport, which is also in Daly City. (Conveniently in the same parking lot as the In N Out next to SFO.)

Oh, Thank You!!!!

@nikipedia apparently “next to” is a relative term. When I hear “next to,” I infer that I can walk there easily. According to Google maps, it’s a 15 minute drive from SFO to 1575 Sullivan Ave. in Daly City. So, including taxi fare, those are gonna be some expensive doughnuts.

@PapaLeo: Or one BART stop. $1.50.
